Uraia Trust is a national organization that focuses on creating informed, empowered and democratic nation through order to realize their constitutional rights and aspirations. Uraia Trust seeks to carry out an end of project evaluation for the above project and wishes to invite qualified consultancy firms to bid for this assignment.
Assignment Title:
End of Project Evaluation- Empowering Kenya: Rights, Inclusion, and Transparency for Accountable Institutions (RITIAI)
Objectives of the assignment:
The main objective of this evaluation is to determine whether the project achieved its intended results. The specific objectives of the evaluation will be to:
(a) Identify the key results of the project and examine whether the project level outputs and outcomes are on track for achieving the intended project impact.
(b) An assessment of the effects of the project implementation on the cross-cutting issues (ant corruption, gender, environment and human rights).
(c) Assess the effectiveness of implementation strategies and partnerships.
(d) Assess the sustainability and climate impacts results.
(e) Assess the social, governance, and effectiveness of Uraia Trust’s financial management systems and practices including those applied in collaboration with implementing partners. The assessment shall be aligned with MFA grant management, fiduciary risk management, and anti-corruption standards.
(f) Provide strategic recommendations for future programmes and policy advocacy.
Required Qualification and Competencies:
The consultancy firm and the personnel to carry out the assignment must be specialists in carrying out similar end of project evaluation demonstrated experience in using the outcome harvesting approach.
Similarly, they must have extensive expertise in project planning, implementation and monitoring, and possess good knowledge of civil society operations and governance issues in Kenya.
